Official Contest Rules- Prize Draw

Purpose of the Quiz and Prize Draw: To encourage active learning, strengthen clinical reasoning, and promote deeper understanding of core concepts in clinical paediatrics.

1. Sponsor

This contest is organised and sponsored by PaediatricBasics (www.paediatricbasics.net).
It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or any other social media platform where it may be promoted. Quiz questions are inspired by topics featured in our YouTube educational content; however, there is no requirement to watch, like, subscribe to, or engage with any videos in order to participate. Participation in the Paediatric Quiz Contest - 1 is entirely free of charge By entering, participants agree to release YouTube and all other platforms from any liability related to this contest.

2. Eligibility

• The contest is open globally; however, prize eligibility is limited to:

  • Medical students

  • Medical trainees

  • Nursing students

  • Nurse practitioners

  • Physician associates

• Entrants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

• The contest is void where prohibited by local laws or regulations.

• No purchase, payment, or subscription is required to enter or win.

• Subscribing to any PaediatricBasics channel or page is optional and does not increase the chances of winning.

• Employees, contributors, or affiliates of PaediatricBasics, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to win.

3. Contest Period

The contest begins on 07/02/2026 (February the first 2026) and ends on 28/02/2026.
Entries submitted before the start time or after the closing time will not be accepted.

4. How to Enter

• There is plenty of times (3 weeks), good idea is to prepare.

• There will be link on the website www.paediatricbasics.net for the form.

• Make sure you have at least 15 minutes to complete the designated form. Once you start you may not be able to come out of it. Once submitted you can not reattempt.

• Participating in the Quiz will be considered acceptance of terms and conditions for the Contest.

• Only one entry per person is permitted. Duplicate entries may result in disqualification.

• Entries must be complete and submitted through the official website form to be considered valid.

5. Winner Selection

• Winners will be determined based on the accuracy and clinical appropriateness of the submitted answers.

• If no entry contains fully correct answers, the winner will be selected based on the closest clinically appropriate response as judged by the sponsor.

• If multiple entrants qualify as winners, a random draw will be conducted among the eligible entries.

• The correct answers will be discussed in a video published on YouTube.com/@paediatricbasics.

• The winner will be announced on 21st March 2026 via a our website and YouTube community post. post and possibly on our Facebook page.

6. Prize

• The winner will receive an Amazon eGift card worth GBP £ 25.00 (where it is legal and available ) voucher, delivered electronically to a valid email address provided by the entrant.

• The prize has no cash alternative, is non‑transferable, and may not be substituted.

• The prize will be delivered within [one month] after the winner has been confirmed and verified.

7. Verification

• The winner may be required to provide proof of identity, age, and eligibility (e.g., student or trainee status).

• Failure to provide verification within 7 days of notification may result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected.

• If the winner cannot be contacted due to an invalid email address or non‑response, the sponsor reserves the right to choose a new winner.

8. Privacy

• Personal information collected during entry will be used solely for the purpose of administering the contest, verifying eligibility, and delivering the prize.

• Information will not be stored long‑term, shared, sold, or used for marketing purposes.

• By entering, participants consent to the temporary processing of their information for contest administration.

9. Agreement to Rules

By participating, entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules.
All decisions made by the sponsor regarding eligibility, winner selection, and rule interpretation are final and binding.
